A quiet town that offers something for everyone.
When trying to picture Bentonville I imagined a loud fast paced big city town but that isn't at all what you get. Sitting by the water fountain in the downtown square I was amazed at how quiet it actually was. Plenty of people filled the square and with children playing you could still here the leaves rustling in the wind and the water splashing in the fountain. The entire town has a very peaceful small town feel to it. If you're planning a vacation to Bentonville and aren't sure if you want to bike the whole time or you have the family with that isn't into biking there are plenty of other options. Besides the numerous thing to do and see the people amplify the experience. Specifically the fellow riders. The locals are friendly and more than willing to share tips and their favorite trails and the people who are visiting are just as friendly. We met countless people from all around the US who were more than happy to share a little about themselves.
The trails also seem to be a melting pot. Men, woman, and kids of all ages and ethnicities, bikes ranging from 1,000's of dollars to box store bikes and people who appeared to be just learning to ride a bike all the way to people ripping and shredding the trails.
